Braid 223 Seafox Jig 4/0 Hook 3oz Lure
Braid 223 Seafox Jig 4/0 Hook 3oz Lure
Braid's Sea Fox Jigs have been carefully designed to be fished in a wide variety of water depths and for a wide variety of fish, for both inshore and offshore situations. We stock the jigs in 7 different weights to accommodate all desired water depths and fishing applications. The Sea Fox jigs can be fished 3 different ways, depending upon where the angler connects his line to the jig. They can be either trolled, cast or jigged for bottom fishing applications, giving these jigs tremendous versatility.
The Sea Fox jigs are perfect for all bottom-fishing applications — either inshore of offshore, depending on water depth. The lighter jigs in both models (1-1/2 oz, 2-1/4 oz and 3 oz sizes) can be fished where water depths range from 4 feet to approximately 30 feet in depth, deeper with the use of thin diameter Spectra lines. These smaller sizes are perfect for all Inshore applications. The heavier jigs in both models (4-1/4 oz, 5-1/4 oz, 7 oz and 10-1/2 oz) can be fished for all deep-water applications up to 200 feet, even deeper under the right conditions and with Spectra lines.
These beautifully finished jigs come in 5 colors, one for almost every need the angler might have; our brilliant colors are: # 28-Goatfish, # 31-Purple/Pink, # 38-Midnight, #40-Dorado and # 41-Orange Mackerel. The lures are pre-rigged with a double assist hook of high quality. The lures are also luminescent, they glow!

Shimano Lucanus Jigs
Shimano's Lucanus jig system represents a fun and exciting approach to catching bottom species.
Lucanus Jigs Features:
Shimano Lucanus Jig is the exciting approach to catching bottom species during the cold water season when fish are not so active
* Aerodynamic head design lets it sink quickly to the bottom and stabilize the jig when it is retrieved.
* Dual eyelet design allows the bottom eyelet to be used to tie the line with a sinker for fast current condition.
* Glow eye for extra appeal in the deep water.
* Multiple hook system provides higher hook-up ratio.
* Durable silicon skirts and trailers wobble and vibrate during the jig movement.
What is a Lucanus Jig?
Only recently did recreational anglers of Japan uncover the commercial anglers secret of the Snapper Rubber Jig which results in the successful catching of red snapper. Since the discovery, recreational anglers modified the jig to make it the hottest technique in Japan to date.
Shimano began researching this technique and developed the U.S. version of the jig and technique necessary for the U.S. waters and called this the Lucanus Jig. Fishing in Southern California, Mexico, Cape Cod, Louisiana Oil Rigs, and Alaska from Rockfish to Yellowtail to Snapper to Cod, we saw amazing results and now Shimano shares that secret with you.
Why Fish Lucanus Jigs?
* Enhance sportfishing
* Bottom fishing with heavy tackle and cut-baits can be laboring and time consuming; however. Lucanus takes the labor out of sportfishing and provides you the freedom of fishing without the need for live bait.
* Fish all season, each season
* Lucanus is effective in each season but performs the best in cold water conditions when fish aren't so active.
* Easy to fish with
* Lucanus is an easy and simple style of bottom fishing with light tackle. Unlike Shimano's Butterfly Jigging technique's quick up and down motion, the Lucanus technique is a slow up and down motion a few feet over the bottom.
* Fun to fish with
* Fish bites are visible and can be felt directly through the soft rod tip guaranteeing anglers excitement and enjoyment.
